Eight Point Contracting was founded in 1997 by Gary Johnson, Henry Pra and Ken Gore. The three of them had been working together as independent contractors and decided to combine forces. Gary and Henry each had 20 years of experience building homes in the Stone Ridge area. Ken was part owner of the Woodstock Nursery and worked with Gary during the winter for several years before going into building full time. Gary has since retired and Henry and Ken continue to build quality homes in the Stone Ridge area. 

Together the Eight Point Team has acquired an excellent reputation throughout Ulster County with projects which include new home construction, additions and renovations.
